Solstice 2014: Spirit of Winter Wall Hanging

Wall Hanging (5"x 7", I think? Forgot to measure)
I made this as a Solstice present for my girlfriend. The main picture was painted with gouache (with glitter accents that don't show up in the photo), while the frame is patterned paper overlaid with shimmer-watercolor and a snowy-chunk nail polish. The shaker fill is iridescent confetti, silver sequins, silver snowflakes, glitter, and tiny faux pearls. Then the outside is, of course, ALL THE THINGS. (And yes, she loved it. Hurray!)

Solstice 2014: Mom's pots

So, I painted these for my mother because... well, she asked me to paint some pots for her and wasn't very specific. Total success though!

Holy crap.

I posted a link to my first ever post (that watercolor mermaid I doodled while the plumber was over) on one of the Bloggess's (BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP, YE MORTALS) comment sections and it bounced from 13 views (half of them probably mine) to 71*.

SO THIS IS WHAT FAME FEELS LIKE.

If you'll excuse me, I need to go plotz at the thought of having WILLINGLY AND ACTIVELY drawn attention to myself. Then go get more ink from Jenn The Marvelous, so at least I can stab the nerves away.

EDIT: It is the next day. I have indeed gotten more ink (yay!) and the view count has crept up to 187. Eeeshk.

EDITTY EDIT: It seems to have finally stopped at 253. I might finally unclench.

*After roughly an hour and a half. FUCK FUCKETTY FUCK. Do I want that number to go higher? Do I want to hide like mad? Yes and yes.
